On first view this striking black metal wall art is an artistic abstract of random circles. But look closer.

The black discs seem to be a haphazard collection of pierced circular plates, but slowly the eye starts to associate the patterns with the world, to make an imagined map of black metal mesh continents contrasted with solid metallic seas.

At over a metre wide, it's a bold, abstract composition that engages the onlooker as you try to recognise the conceptual shapes.

With dark tones of grey, black and bronze on the pierced metal dishes, the abstract world wall plaque has an industrial yet futuristic appeal.
